Shelly beach Wharf Fishing

Shelly bch wharf is best fished on the in coming tide over high and then the out going (2hrs each way) no burley needed use the ledger rig (sinker sand grab then two hooks 4-6/0s above ,cut baits like bonito and mullet work good there , fishing of the bch next to wharf (camping ground )works just as well same tides ,night fishing seems to work better of the wharf , at the end of the road ,north (south head rd) is mossie bay better fished over low using the same set up(tackel) except you can use pillies to better effect there.both places have strong currants .
