THERE'S a full moon tonight, but it won't be just any old full moon. It will be bigger and brighter.

 

It will appear larger as it makes its closest approach to Earth in 18 years.

Scientists estimate the "supermoon" rising in the east at sunset will appear 14 per cent bigger and 30 per cent brighter at its peak.

Full moons vary in size because of the oval shape of its orbit, with one end closer to Earth. Tonight, the moon will be 356,500km away - the closest to Earth since March 1993.

This celestial phenomenon should give people an excuse to take time out for the moon.

 

Usually, "most people are completely oblivious to its presence", said Geoff Chester of the US Naval Observatory in Washington, DC.

While today's full moon will shine brighter than normal, it will not be as luminous as the near-supermoon of 2008, when it was higher in the sky, he said.

"Nothing exciting is going to happen," he said.This type of full moon tends to bring a range of high and low tides, but experts say that is nothing to worry about. Nor is there any truth to the superstition that supermoons cause natural disasters.

19일 지구와 달이 근접해지는 최고로 근접해지는 날.

특이하게도 그 날 보름달이 뜬다.

태양,지구,달이 일렬이 된다.
좌측면에서는 태양의 인력이 지구 중심부를 끌어당기고 우측에서는 달이 지구 중심부를 끌어당기는 상황이된다.
비스듬하게도 각도가 어긋나게도 아닌 정확하게 일렬 상태로 양측에서 지구를 끌어당기는 상황이다. 
지구를 감싸고 있는 플레이트판이 뒤틀릴 정도의 힘이 작용한다.  

 

지구와 태양과 달의 인력이 최고조에 달하고

달의 운동 괘적에 영향을 주는 목성과 달의 거리도 최저에 이르는 상태라서 달이 지구에 끼치는 인력은 엄청나게 증가할 것.
수학적으로 3월 19일이 되면 만류인력이 23% 증가 된다고 하지만 더 높을 가능성도 있다.

지구 내핵과 플레이트판에 영향을 주게 되고 플레이트판이 네개나 뭉쳐있는 일본 서해지역에 큰 지진이 발생한다.

18일까지 여진이 계속되다가 19일에서 20일 시점에 역사상 최악의 초대형 지진이 발생할 것이다.

달의 인력이 최고조에 달하는 시점은 20일 오전.

여하튼 몇일 전부터 보이는 달빛이 예사롭지 않은것은 사실입니다.

달이 너무 밝고 아름답습니다.

남반구인 이곳 뉴질랜드가 달과 더 가깝기 때문에 한국에서 보는 달과는 사이즈나 빛이 다르다고 합니다.

그렇기도 하겠지만...

한국에서는 밋밋하게 대했던 달빛인데...

여기서는 가만히 보고 있노라면 가슴속에서 뭔가가 진동을 일으키기 시작합니다. ㅡㅡ;;
